About TNS Workshops
At Pineapple, we offer full-day in-studio The Next Step workshops for both beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. Each workshop includes TNS certificate of attendance and exclusive shopping discounts to make your experience that bit more special, as well as the following:
TNS Technique: Learn to kick, turn and leap like A-Troupe!
Acro: Learn to trick like a troupe - In this TNS dance workshop we will be working on cartwheels, handstands, flips, walkovers and more.
Freestyle Workshop: Perfect your freestyle moves and find your inner ATroupe style.
TNS Choreography: Learn original choreography as seen on The Next Step TV show. Now, you don’t just have to dance in your living room, you can learn the real choreography from The Next Step, exactly as the cast performs it on the show.
Performance: Families are invited to come and watch all of the rehearsed performances at the end of the day, so not only are you learning the choreography from the show, but you get to perform it for your family and friends!

Workshops can be cancelled free of charge up to 48hrs before their start time for account credit which can be used towards other classes and workshops.
What Is The Next Step?
The Next Step is a television drama series based in Canada, and it follows the members of a popular dance studio, The Next Step Studios. A global hit with the younger generation in the dancing world, this show encourages younger people to get into dance while entertaining as a reality series style show.
Pineapple Dance Studios has collaborated with The Next Step to deliver top-level dance lessons with original choreography from the hit show.
Are The Next Step Cast Members Real Dancers?
Yes, The Next Step cast are real dancers! When the directors of The Next Step (TNS) came together to create the hit Canadian show, there was one rule that they were going to stick to, and that was that the cast had to be real dancers. Everything you see on screen is choreographed and performed by real highly skilled dancers.
About our TNS x Pineapple Teachers
Our Pineapple teachers have been taught exclusive TNS choreography by the cast of ‘The Next Step’ themselves and have impressive careers of their own. They have danced and choreographed for the likes of Dua Lipa, Strictly Come Dancing and many more.
Our TNS x Pineapple team have been specially selected from our huge team of top teachers for their extensive experience teaching young dancers of all levels and ages.
Workshop Difficulty Levels
Beginners: For kids aged 7-12 years with little or no dance and acrobatic experience; for those who dance on a casual basis (e.g. school clubs, youth clubs etc.).
Intermediate: For kids aged 7-12 years with formal dance school training, 3-5 years of regular dance training; some gymnastic/cheer/acrobatic experience.
Advanced: For kids aged +13 years with +5 years of dance experience and confidence in acrobatics (e.g. competitive dance/gymnastics/cheer experience or exams of Grade 5+). Younger dancers with a very high level of dance and acrobatic training will also be accepted.
Please note, this is only a guide and all groups tend to be mixed ability. Groups may be split based on age.
