Lil' J trained in all areas of dance - Street Hip Hop, Commercial, Lyrical, Popping/Locking, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet. She has a B.Ed. degree in Dance and Drama.
Lil' J has worked extensively in Film, TV, Music Videos, PA's, Special Events, Festivals, Showcases, Performances, Youth/School Projects, Education, Colleges and Universities.
Dancing since age six and teaching at Pineapple Studios for more than fifteen years, Lil J is a pioneer of teaching street and hip-hop dance styles in London. With six drop-in classes each week, beginners can learn a range of routines while more advanced dancers can improve their audition technique, expand their range, and work on the nuances of the choreography. All levels are welcome in all classes!
Street Hip-Hop Fusion offers a great variety of styles from week to week, including street, hip-hop, commercial, and jazz, but you’ll also find routines that test your footwork with some street tap inspiration and some weeks we embrace all the emotions with street-infused lyrical choreography.
Each routine is taught six times, so you can come back as many times as you like (or pick up a true bargain with a weekly rate!) and there is no need to book for these classes: just turn up and dance.
