About Louis Mackrodt
Louis Mackrodt is a West End performer originally from Essex who moved to London to train at the prestigious ‘Laine Theatre Arts’. He is currently teaching at some of the top musical theatre colleges/universities. He works passionately to nurture a warm, inviting environment, to allow all students to get the best they can out of their true potentials. A lot of Louis’ styles works around getting students to understand subject matter, whilst at the same time, have a great time. Some of his credits include the multinational hit Hamilton (Victoria Palace), Assistant Choreographer of 42 Balloons (Vaudeville), Drew McOnie’s The Artist (Theatre Royal Plymouth), Treason (London Palladium & UK Tour), Guys and Dolls (Theatre Marigny, Paris), Bhangra Nation (Birmingham Rep), The Producers (Royal Exchange, Manchester), Time Flies (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Lewis (Edinburgh Festival & Kings Head Theatre), National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals (Manchester AO Arena, BBC), Maersk’s - Together All the Way Campaign (Copenhagen Film Company). Louis has also been part of workshops including Assistant Choreographer of Icon A K Pop Musical, The Witches of Eastwick (Pre-Sweden), Babies, 42 Balloons, The Red and the Black (Pre-Japan).
