The Next Step star - Alexandra Chaves - returns to London! Fresh off The Next Step Legacy World Tour – UK leg, Alexandra Chaves a.k.a. Piper returns to Pineapple Dance Studios, London for 4 exclusive The Next Step Choreography Workshops on Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March 2026!
To celebrate her return, Alexandra will be teaching a brand-new TNS Mashup Combination. This exclusive mashup blends iconic TNS songs and moments into one unforgettable piece of choreography created just for Pineapple.
Alexandra asked her audience on social media which routines they most wanted to learn, and the top requests were:
- Piper’s “Lose Control” Solo (S6 – Jazz/Lyrical)
- “Even When We’re Gone” (S6 Final Regionals Dance – Jazz/Lyrical)
These fan-favourites will appear throughout the mashup, along with additional standout tracks from across Alexandra’s seasons on The Next Step.

BEGINNER MASHUP
A fun, A-Troupe style mashup featuring fan favourite TNS songs and iconic Piper moments, including:
- A Side (S4)
- Now You Got the Best (S6 Girls Dance)
- Lose Control (S6 Piper Solo)
- Even When We’re Gone (S6 Final Regionals Dance - 'The Piano Dance')
Movement will be beginner-friendly with options for jazz, lyrical, hip hop and fusion-based styles so every dancer can shine.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED MASHUP
A more dynamic, performance-driven mashup blending high-impact TNS tracks, including:
- Main Attraction (S7)
- Lose Control (S6 Piper Solo)
- Parallel World (S7 Piper Solo)
- Even When We’re Gone (S6 Final Regionals Dance - 'The Piano Dance')
Perfect for dancers ready to level up with emotional performance and technical challenges (different options given to support different levels).

Biography
Alexandra Chaves is an actor, dancer, student and advocate best known for her role as ‘Piper' on five seasons of the CBBC series, ‘The Next Step’. Alexandra has headlined dance tours in the UK and Australia with her ‘The Next Step’ cast mates and continues to explore her passion for dance, acting and most recently, behind the scenes of film & TV.
Alexandra has a growing 149,000 followers on Instagram, where she enjoys regularly posting about her upcoming projects and advocacy, including her passions for gender equality, youth empowerment and mental wellbeing.
