This introductory dance course at Pineapple is tailored for beginners who love House music. This 6 week course will offer House dance foundations including jacking, steps, and simple variations. Each session will explore one or two step(s) and its variations. By the end of the course you will have a basic foundation and understanding of House dance movements that will make you more able to keep up and enjoy the fast tempo of House music.

WHAT TO BRING
- Comfortable clothing: For our dance classes, we encourage everyone to wear what they feel the most comfortable to move in. You can visit our Pineapple store opposite the studios and ask for advice from our staff, or can check out our online store where we have all the dance essentials you might need for your class. We have changing rooms and showers on location.
- Trainers: It's essential for this course that you wear flat shoes, trainers that you can move comfortably in.
- Water bottle: It's important to stay hydrated during your classes, so make sure you bring your water bottle. We have multiple water points in the building where you can have a refill.
SCHEDULE
This House course for beginners is 6 weeks long, with 1 class per week (6 classes all together). Each class is 60 minutes long and held by Ani Khets at Pineapple Dance Studios.

1st Class: Saturday 25th May
2nd Class: Saturday 1st June
3rd Class: Saturday 8th June
Break (no class): Saturday 15th June

ABOUT ANI KHETS
Ani Khets started training in a variety of street dance styles 7 years ago after taking her first hip hop class at Pineapple. Since then, she’s been learning from some of the best teachers in London. She has invested a lot of time in self-training, researching, and understanding different ways of body movement.
Ani likes to focus on the details when learning as well as teaching and believes that mastering basics and foundations first is the key to progress.
